*per 100*. If we are moving from a decimal to a percent, we multiply the number by 100 to get our answer. The easiest way to do this is to

**move the decimal 2 places to the right**.

**Example 1: .44 = ___%**

- Move the decimal 2 places to the right.
- The answer is

**Example 2: 1.87 = ___%**

- Move the decimal 2 places to the right.
- The answer is
**187**

**Example 3: 0.043 = ___%**

- Move the decimal 2 places to the right.

**Example 4: 0.004 = ___%**

- Move the decimal 2 places to the right.

- Multiply by 100.
- The answer is
