Elementary School Number Sense Lesson 10: Place Values

Today's lesson is the most basic one in my app (which is why I placed it at Level 1), and all the others build upon its foundation.  This concept has appeared 5 times so far this year on elementary school tests, with a median placement at question # 12.

Like our Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/numberdojo/) if you want to see new number sense posts on your wall.  I will reward you with a free concept index or flashcard file of your choice.  Thank you!

Number Dojo Level: 1

In the following number:
123,456.7890
each digit represents a different place value:
1: hundred thousands
2: ten thousands
3: thousands
4: hundreds
5: tens
6: ones (or units)
7: tenths

To solve these problems, simply identify which digit is in the given place.  Be sure to read the question carefully!
